GIA and AGS are the ONLY diamond certificates Strickland’s recognizes.

Strickland Jewelers is proud to be a member of the AGS since 1982.
What does it mean to be a member of the AGS?

One of the most prestigious memberships in the jewelry business today is know as the American Gem Society. This society requires its member to practice the highest business ethics and prove their knowledge on diamonds and gemstones.

This honorable membership provides benefits and services to the jewelry industry that extend to our family of customers.  The AGS keeps members up to date on recent developments in the jewelry industry.  Membership is reviewed annually.  Registered Jewelers must take continuing education courses and pass yearly test on their understanding of diamonds and gemstones.  The AGS demands their members maintain integrity by requiring and policing specific business practices. Dealing with an AGS store not only insures you are involved with a knowledgeable staff, but that you are also receiving quality stones and fair pricing.
